Minutes, the record-breaking production of the Steppenwolf Theater Company, takes a critical look at the inner workings of a city council meeting and the hypocrisy, greed and ambition that surface when a newcomer to the small town from Big Cherry starts asking the wrong questions. Why is a board member mysteriously missing? What happened to all these bikes? Are there shenanigans in the city’s finances? What’s wrong with the available parking space? What’s going on with the Lincoln Smackdown? And why are the minutes of the last meeting being kept secret? After all, the smallest towns keep the biggest secrets.
Although it is played at Studio 54, Minutes is not a Roundabout Theater Company production.
