Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hire Fargo producer Nishika Kumble for upcoming Netflix shows

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s production company Archewell Productions has just expanded their team, adding Nishika Kumble to the roster. According to a statement from Archewell, Kumble “will direct all scripted television productions and work closely with Netflix to produce entertaining content in a variety of voices that informs, uplifts and inspires.” His title will be senior vice president of script television.

Previously, Kumble was Vice President of Development and Production at Le Train Productions, headed by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack. Prior to that, Kumble served as Director of Development at Noah Hawley’s 26 Keys Productions. There she produced several seasons of the hit series FX Fargo and Legion.

Archewell’s first two announced projects with the streaming giant are Heart of Invictus, a docu-series focused on the Invictus Games, and will be produced by Prince Harry, and pearl, which will be an animated series for children, produced by the Duchess of Sussex.

Kumble isn’t the only new addition to the Archwell team. Chanel Pysnik was recently hired to lead Unscripted Television. Pysnik previously worked as CNN’s director of development for original series, as well as director of international content for Disney +.
