The video captures a strange voice shouting “Help!” twice inside the “empty” room

Chilling video captured an eerie voice making a guttural cry for help – although footage did not show anyone standing in the room at the time.

The spooky sounds were captured by a woman, who lives alone, after she installed cameras in her home and sent the footage to New England Paranormal Investigators (PI-NE).

In the video, you can see a woman leaving a room at around 40 seconds in and as she leaves a strange, raspy sound saying “help” can be heard.

The video then cuts to another scene of the empty room later that night where the sounds can be heard again.

The 1:37 video shows a number of different spooky incidents experienced by the woman who claims she also experienced sounds, objects moving at will and the appearance of what was described as an “apparition”.

The beginning of the video shows a man standing in a doorway, when he leaves a silhouetted, transparent figure like figure that takes his place.

After the bizarre phenomenon was caught on the tape, the woman, who has not been named, went straight to PI-NE who investigated the matter.

PI-NE is a nine-person team, headquartered in Vermont.

Betty Miller, the band’s manager said FoxNews that people usually come into contact to try to find answers to troubling events.

“By the time people contact us, they’re at a level of desperation where they want us to be there as soon as possible to figure out what’s going on,” Miller said.

“Most often we hear the customer say, ‘I just want to know if I’m crazy’ or ‘Is this really happening? »

About the group website Miller said her own experiences led her down the path of real-life ghost hunting in 2008 and has been exploring the paranormal ever since.

“As a result of experiences such as living in a haunted apartment, an apparition a few feet away, having a surreal UFO experience in my early twenties, the path of my life changed forever,” he said. she writes.

“I work full time in a government job but nights and weekends are spent serving other people who are going through hard times or just solving a really good mystery whether it be minds , cryptids or UFO experiences.

“I believe that events are put in front of us to lead us in the direction we are meant to go, whether it is personal for me or for the client.”

The mother-of-three explained that getting answers can be a good way to close the unknown.

“I think it’s essential to get out what’s real, explainable, what can’t be explained scientifically and occasionally take a step back and look for the overall message,” she said.

Miller said her own experience with the Unknown led her to become a true ghost hunter in 2008 - the group was formed in 2004, however, by currently inactive member Jeff Stewart.

“Being able to lead this team that has become like a second family, has led to years of rewarding satisfaction and joy, you won’t find better people with more positive optimistic attitudes, and I’m so lucky to have them. part.”

The group was founded in 2004 by Jeff Stewart, a currently inactive member.

Stewart started as a paranormal investigator in 2001 with a group from Worcester, Massachusetts.

“I have investigated all types of paranormal phenomena from cryptozoology, ghosts, hauntings and UFOs,” he wrote on the group’s website.

“I founded Paranormal Investigators of New England (PI-NE) in 2004 and have trained many investigators in the field who have started their own groups in New England.”

If a customer has encountered something unexplainable, they can go to the group’s website and fill out a customer form where the team will assess the case and investigate the problem for free.

“I experienced a full apparition watching over me while I was in bed,” Miller said.

“It’s a life-changing experience because it makes no sense to the logical mind. As human beings, we find it in our nature to have an explanation for everything – and then it happens.

The website lists a range of devices ranging from K2 meters for measuring electromagnetic energy, digital voice recorders, nighttime heat finding cameras and pros to name a few.

But Miller said her favorite device is the basic audio recorder she frequently uses in cases.

“There is an endless production of new equipment available in the field, and we have a lot of it, which is fantastic, but it always comes down to the audio recorder,” she said.

“When you have a voice responding to you through the audio recorder that you haven’t heard in real time, you now have something solid that cannot be disputed. And it’s very exciting.

The team starts a branch in New Hampshire run by Jason Engel who told Fox News he has seen apparitions.

“During a private investigation with PI-NE, I experienced an overt appearance in front of me and another fellow investigator,” he said.

“We were investigating reports of activity around an old abandoned sugar shack on a property. After hearing knocks and noises from someone walking around outside the cabin, my fellow investigator and I exited the cabin and stood in front of it.

He explained that in a window in the cabin, which had no panes, “a light began to form”, began to intensify and “become sharper”.

“Slowly the face of what appeared to be a dark-haired woman began to become more discernible, but still blurry and not quite formed,” he said.

“I took a step forward and directed my light at the figure, which instantly disappeared.”

PI-NE investigator Steve Sicard said there are “many reasons why a spirit may stick around”, a common reason being that he has “unfinished business”.

“They’re stuck on earth as a residual spirit repeating the same tasks or actions that they’ve done on a regular basis,” Sicard told the broadcaster.

Miller said there are “a plethora of spirits” and many “possible reasons why they stick around.”

Some of these reasons are “not so pleasant”, she said, and can be considered “demonic or even never human”. She said the subject itself is “a rabbit hole to go down.”

“I can tell you with confidence that it exists,” she said.

“In the case of a traumatic departure from earth, it is true that some may not realize that they are dead.” Personally, I never ask, “Do you know you’re dead?”
