Wheatstone will showcase AoIP offering at IBC2022 • RedTech

Wheatstone will add more tools and routable audio elements to the IBC2022 native AoIP offering with its Power Blade 4 I/O unit and a new GSX console surface for its WheatNet-IP intelligent audio network.

Blade 4 is Wheatstone’s fourth-generation WheatNet-IP I/O unit that includes routable audio processing, utility mixers, on-board software applications, and OPUS, MP3, and AAC codecs.

GSX console surface is the latest from Wheatstone fully reprogrammable AoIP console combining software controls with touch surface and touch screen interface.

Both add to the comprehensive WheatNet-IP smart ecosystem of AoIP studio assets and third-party technology partners, which includes consoles and virtual interfaces for routable audio codecs, EQ dynamics, mixing, l Stream Provisioning and Scripting Tools.

This IBC show will also be a first for Wheatstone’s versatile MP-532 FM/AM/streaming audio processor.

Wheatstone says the MP-532 introduces new algorithms to produce even deeper bass, detailed highs and a warm, present midrange that hasn’t been possible from an audio processor until now.

The MP-532 is a versatile processor for FM, AM and streaming and includes RDS, multiplex power controller and WheatNet-IP audio network interface.

Wheatstone will be at booth 8.C91 at IBC2022, where it will also showcase its new Layers software suite which works on most basic servers to add new studios, consolidate stations and back up entire broadcast suites.
